On Tuesday dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded Beit Duqqu and Biddu towns northwest of occupied Jerusalem, searched many homes, abducted five Palestinians, and wounded dozens during ensuing protests.
Media sources said many Israeli army jeeps invaded Beit Duqqu before the soldiers stormed and ransacked many homes.
They added that the soldiers abducted four Palestinians; Tamer Marar, Ali Hamdan Daoud, Saif Bader, and Shadi Hussein.
Many Palestinians protested the invasion and hurled stones at the army jeeps before the soldiers fired a barrage of gas bombs, some striking homes, causing dozens of residents to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.
The soldiers also invaded Biddu, searched several homes, and abducted a young man, Soheib Ahmad Abu Eid.
In related news, the soldiers abducted four young Palestinian men in the Bethlehem governorate, south of occupied Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
